Prior to taking a dress to Nicky's, I called to ask if would be able to complete a hem and take-in for a sundress. Nicky guaranteed that if I drop off the dress on Wednesday it would be ready on Friday by noon. After this confirmation, I paid for the alterations in advance and confidently left the dress at the tailor. On Friday, at 1 pm, I stopped by to pick up the dress and was informed that he needed more time. He asked me to come back at 3pm and the dress would be finished. After running around, I returned back to the tailor (4:30 pm) and was Nicky told me that the dress was not finished yet. Noticeably upset, I informed him that I did not have the time to wait and reminded him of the original time quote. In order to avoid embarrassment (lobby was full of patrons) he immediately went to the back to retrieve my dress which was never touched since the day that I dropped it off following our consultation. He asked me to give him a moment and started the alterations for the first time. I was extremely annoyed and immediately decided that I would never use his services again. In addition, the dress was not altered correctly and was just as big as it was when I tried it on before the alterations.
