Nicklin Property Management

I applied for a house and waited and waited. The agent never called me back after many messages. I really wanted the house and called periodically to check on the status only to find out the agent was always busy. The company's policy is to accept applications even after processing one, which in my opinion shouldn't be so. After all the trouble I went through I didn't get the property it was given to another applicant who had turned their application in days after mine. The agent called and was unkind and showed no compassion whatsoever. No reason was given and when I received an email later of other possible houses they were not in the area I needed or even what I had asked for. Altogether it was a horrible experience and I wish I had listened to the reviews I had read. Nicklin prides himself on his humble beginnings and reputation, but it seems to me he has lost all compassion for the people who built his company up to what it is today. They dont treat home owners any better. We have gotten rent checks that are hundreds of dollars short for ""repairs"" sometime that month. Once it was 1/2 what it should have been and i asked and they said they made a repair. When i demanded an itemization of the repair they refunded the money instead... which means there were no repairs and they took the money!!!! They ignore HOA notices for the owners, They caused us to have a hearing with our HOA but didnt tell us and we missed it and accumulated a lot of fees. Theyre awful! We we moved into one of their properties, we informed the inspector of many items which were damaged. He told us not to worry about those things because Nicklin doesn't inspect them. SO we figured he knew what he was talking about since he works for this Property Management company. Well, when it came time to move out, we were inspected a lot more detailed than originally told. So.... we ended up being charged for things we did not do!!! We do not recommend Nicklin at ALL. Pros: They have MANY rental homes Cons: The staff are not properly trained and do not communicate amoung eachother more
