well i work at this pet store that someone is claiming to be so horrible,so this is for her.the pekingese that you are referring was named pekie queen well atleast that was what she called and she was sold, that's what happens to dogs at pet store we sell them. so before you go around accusing people of killing or getting rid of our dogs maybe you should look into first. and the other thing i have a problem with is the puppy mill comment, we don't get our puppies from mills, the owners of this store takes alot of time and effort to make sure of that. and the 12 year was probably me, and i'm 18 and know exactly what i'm talking about when it comes to animals and so does everyone else there and we all care about these animals more than anything, we treat them as if they were our own. so you can get lost and never come back to the store we really don't need lie being spread around about you're ""experinces"" there. I live fairly close to this pet store and go in there frequently to see the puppies. I would NEVER purchase one from them though. First of all, they are way overpriced for these puppies. I'm pretty sure that these dogs just come from a puppy mill and live in horrible conditions. The first time I went in there, I asked the girl at the counter (who looked like she was about 12) where they got their puppies. She proceeded to recite something that sounded like it had been memorized. It's probably written on an index card under the counter in case they forget the lie they are supposed to tell the customer. $1199 for a puppy in a pet store? Ridiculous. Those poor things sit in those glass cases all day with 3 other dogs. It's heinous. They are the rudest people that I have ever encountered. They give you an attitude if you ask to see one of the puppies. They just let them run around and go to the bathroom all over the store. Why don't they have a room for the customer and puppy to go in? There was this adorable puppy there that was born in January of this year. She was so cute and I loved her so much. I was almost tempted to just buy her because I fell in love with her. I kept going back to the store to visit, week after week. Initially, she was around $1000. Then once she got to be 6/7 months old, they dropped the price down by $100. Seriously?? How do they ever expect to sell these poor pups if they are so ridiculously overpriced? Then one day....she was gone. : ( I know that no one would pay that much for a dog that is almost a year old.....I wonder what happened to my little Pekingnese.....: ( more
