You guys are awesome! I went in a few weeks ago because I had to much oil in my car. I took it to other shops that wanted to charge in the thousands for a repair. You were able to do it for under 100 bucks. All the other places just saw it as a chance to rip me off. You are the only mechanics I will go to from now on. Pros: Honest & Affordable more

Definitely Recommend! 10/3/2009

My husband and I have been going to Newman's Automotive on 3916 Woodbury Dr. for about 12 years. Recently we took my husband's 1999 Avalon to Newman's. It had an oil sludge problem when we bought it, which Toyota knew about but would not make good on it. David at Newman's flushed out our engine and made repairs needed. He informed us about what was needed and how much it would cost, before he did the repairs. He has always been very professional and honest with us. We would definitely recommend Newman's for any auto repair. Pros: Honest and professional service. more

Trustworthy. I went in thinking I knew what my car needed. They helped me see what my car really needed and it was even cheaper! Pros: Comfortable waiting area more

Good People 9/15/2008

I showed up with my crapolla Nissan Altima, the side mirror had been knocked mostly off. Even though they were closing (may even have just closed and forgot to lock the door) someone came out, looked at it and was able to quickly disconnect the wiring so the mirror wouldn't dangle off the side of my car. Then the service guy says to me, ""I'm in business to make money, but if you can tighten three screws you could save a lot and do this yourself."" Then he explained how simply I could just re-attach the mirror and told me to save the money and come back when I had something that needed more work. I will. more

Customer service was great. Price for buyer inspection was decent. Quote for service was pretty high, went elsewhere for better price. Pros: Good customer service Cons: Price was a bit high more

Great Customer Service 7/19/2006

I just wanted to thank you for your help and your ""unheard of now-a-days"" customer service. I was really in a jam in San Antonio when my Honda would not get into gear. I was preoccupied with work and upset that the repair I thought was fixed the week before was back. That you volunteered to drive to San Antonio to remedy the problem surprised me immensely. I will gladly refer customers to you at my every opportunity because your reputation and integrity with me are solid. more

Highly Recommended! 7/19/2006

Thanks for being the only mechanic we have ever known who was worth sticking with. We really appreciated your assistance when we got the new Honda. It has been a fantastic car. By the way, we went back to Performance Products and got a magnetic belt for the oil filter. Since basically nothing seems to go wrong so far with this car, we'll see you just as soon as the odometer hits the next check point. more
