This is one of the last of the little country stores where the elder gents meet on the front porch and sit on the old car seat to gossip. I've even seen whittlin' done there. The owner, Jerry Rose, is very serious about cleanliness. You'll get a great stacked sandwich, a cold drink (or hot coffee) and local folklore. Just one thing. He don't keep no straws! On one occasion, Jerry and friends even brought out guitars and entertaned us with country and Gospel music!
