My wife and I have been to Newark Vacuum many times in the past 20 years to buy vacuum bags, belts, sewing machine parts, etc.\r They have always been friendly and professional.\r They have always gone that extra mile to make sure we are happy with any service work that we have had them do.\r We trust them implicitly.\r If you have a vacuum or sewing machine with a problem that no one else can solve, bring it to them.\r Their prices for sewing machines and vacuum cleaners (New and used.) are very fair. Took my Hoover steam cleaner into this shop due to a problem not spraying water. They were very nice and had my machine back to me within 2 days. Everything works like new again and my Carpets look great. I need a Vacuum soon and will be going there to purchase one. more

The worst repair shop I have ever been to!\r \r In mid February, I found my Bissell carpet cleaner was not working, so I checked the Bissell website to find this near by authorized service center to repair, the nightmare starts.\r \r Two weeks later, they called me and told me it was just some clog, and they cleaned it, it was working fine now. So I took it home. It cost me $59.95.\r \r Two weeks later when I used it, it was the same problem, the water is not coming out. So I took it back again. One week later, they called me saying the unit is ready. I went there, the two owners swore that they checked it and there is "no problem found", so I took it home again. I tried it immediately at home, it was not working. So I took it back again!\r \r The repair guy swore to me again that it was working fine at the shop, then I asked him to try it before me. It was not working! So they took it back to repair. It was 3/29/10.\r \r Yesterday they called me saying it is fixed now, and it was 5/1 more

I love going into this store, they are the best! They are always so helpful, and always give you the best deals possible. They know how to work their machines, which not every sewing center does. And they are so nice! I bought my embroidery machine and software there, and have been very happy with the product and the service that I get from them. I also brought in an old sewing machine to be overhauled, and they were so knowledgeable about the machine, I was very impressed. more
