The New York Public LIbrary has a huge selection of all kinds of media. They have books, magazines, newspapers, other periodicals, audio tapes or CDs, videos and DVDs. They have a tremendous amount of material, and one would be hard pressed to be bored if they ever walked in there. One of the fantastic things about the NYPL is that when you know you want a book, you can go on line and reserve it. They will get it sent to the library branch that you request, and will keep the item on hold for you for up to three weeks. Also, if there are no holds on your item, you can renew it on line up to three times. There are many other very useful features on their website, that makes access to the library much easier.
