I've Been Around the world as a U.S.Navy Sailor. Being A Chicago boy at Heart I like A different style , but I Know a Really good Slice of New York Style Pizza when I put it in my pie Hole And Johnny Knows how to do it Right. Also some Extremely good Chicken Parm, Sandwiches. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! more

Best Pizza South of the Mason/Dixon line 12/6/2011

I've been eating here for more than 12 years now, I've eaten pizza from other place, but nothing compares to the pizza made here. Pizza from other places (Sorry Mellow Mush, Fellini, etc...) dwarf by comparison. The tomato sauce @ the New York Pizzeria in Chamblee is so truly authentic that one taste takes me back home to my friends restaurant in New Jersey. And, the best calzone ever made on Georgia soil. I recommend the Sausage and Mushroon calzone, it is out of this world and a wonderful culinary journey. Awesome food, wonderful service and outstanding value make New York the very best Pizzeria in Atlanta!!! more

Great Pizza, salad bar and service 10/26/2011

I have been having lunch here for more that 8 years and it is a great place to eat. The owners know me and I feel at home here. more

This is the best Stomboli I have had outside of the Bronx. The Calzone's are fantastic as well. Everyone seems to order the Pizzas. They are good too, but its the Stomboli and Calzones that keep me coming back. more

Best Pizza in ATL 5/17/2007

In the interest of disclosure, I'm friends with Kbenton404, although I assure you that I am a different person. I second everything he says -- I'm a big pizza fan, and in my opinion it's hands-down the best pizza in Atlanta and among the very best anywhere I've been in the country. Pros: excellent and real NY-style pizza Cons: none, really. be careful not to overeat. more

I second the previous reviewer. This New Yorker has had plenty of good pizza in this town, of various types and styles but I kept wanting pizza like I grew up with. I regret it's taken me two years to write this, but I almost wanted to keep them to myself. Pros: 100% real NY style, great pizza, great service, great people Cons: it's not next door to my house? really not one, in my mind... more

I wrote in and made a comment that you could not find real pizza in the south,To my surprise the owner of The Pizzeria contacted me and invited me to try a slice,I did.It takes a New Yorker to make a NY pizza.I have found my PIZZA. Pros: pizza by the slice, REAL pizzaman, REAL pizza more
