I found out about NYPD from a restaurant review TV show a few years ago. The reviewer gave NYPD a very high score so I decided to see for myself. The review was dead on, and I have been a regular customer ever since (once and sometimes twice a week). The food is excellent in quality and while I have heard it said by a few that the prices are a tad high, I have always felt that I have gotten more than my money's worth. Everything is made from scratch - something you don't see that often anymore. The staff is efficient and friendly, and the owners treat their customers like family. Pros: Everything ! more

Authentic family-run business with incredible thin or thick crust pizza and other entrees. 6/27/2006

Great food, plenty of fresh garlic and herbs, not for wimps who like spaghetti-O's. Portions are generous (no, huge!), and the hospitality is great. They have a great local following. Seating is limited indoors and out, but well worth the wait. Love both types of pizza, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala or parmesan, and more. They also do a variety of tender, fresh bagels. Everything is fresh and made on premises. They do lunch and dinner daily and to-go, and are located in a strip mall. You will not be disappointed! Best of Class 2/5/2006

This is a lock. You can't go wrong. The owner's of this restaurant have made it a point to put their personal touch on every aspect of this restaurant. Outstanding! Pros: Outstanding, Great Service, Delicious Food Cons: need more seeting more
