The New York Mets, a baseball club in the National League, located in Flushing, Queens, is a mixed bag, much like the team itself. The New York Mets have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but they are never boring. Shea Stadium, their home since 1964, is an outdated venue, but makes you feel oddly home. The food and drinks are WAY overpriced and could be better, but you're watching the New York Mets. The team, whether bad or great, is always exciting, and when it's rocking, you're rocking. The stadium will most likely be replaced in 2009 or later, but it might not be missed. The most desirable features, such as the Big Apple in the outfield, will most likely be brought to the new stadium.
It may not be the best in the majors, but it has its charms. I would recommend going to meet the Mets!
