A good place to board your dog. 4/18/2008

I was referred to NY Dog Spa by my veterinarian. The first time I was very very nervous. I had never left my dog anywhere before. The place is clean and really does not smell like dogs at all. All the dogs seem well treated. I have since boarded my dog over 10 times and each time he was happy to be there. One time he was on medication and I actually counted the pills before and after they stay and there were the correct number. Pros: Smells Great, Dogs seem happy Cons: Manhattan prices more

Ask for Jorge !!! 2/14/2008

When it comes to my two bitches only the best will do and Groomer Jorge Bendersky is the best. I love the care he gives my two little girls. Thanks Jorge. Pros: Jorge of course more

This is the ONLY place I will kennel my precious puppy! 1/30/2007

I have a puppy that is just 6 months old. I had to go away for 5 days on a business trip and DID NOT want to leave him at all - let alone with a kennel. My friends who have dogs were also away or busy so they couldn't watch him for me so I was forced to look at kennels. I went to 3 places and inspected them all. By far, Dog Spa and Hotel was the most loving. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in making sure it was a good experience for my puppy AND for me. (They knew it was gonna be harder for me.)\r \r I had no trouble arranging everything. It was affordable - given the level of service, attention and love they shower on my puppy - and everyone is so down to earth. They knew my puppy by name and are genuinely happy to see him. HE IS HAPPY TOO! So happy with staying there that I decided to send him there twice a week for day care so he could play with his pals while I earn the bones!\r \r The staff at Dog Spa are PET PEOPLE - every one of them. I wouldn't trust my dog to them if I didn't trust them.\r PLUS, I love knowing that there is a vet just in case anything goes wrong.\r \r FANTASTIC! Pros: Clean, Organized, Loving, Flexible and Affordable Cons: Their pet shop is too pricey! more
