I just visited New York pizza, i was a regular customer, but after this experience, i don't think i'll be back. After waited for our server for over a half an hour, we finally contacted the manager, who acted clueless himself, and didn't even act like he cared. Our server finally came back to the table and told us that there was a mix up in the kitchen and our pizzas were being remade. This information should have been relayed to us when the mix up occured, instead of having us sit there for an hour before he came back to the table. The manager then came back to the table and told us 6 more minutes on the pizza, and that it was not the server's problem. I beg to differ because it was the server's reponsibility to acknowledge us, and keep us informed, which he failed to do. When we finally got the pizza, the bottom of the crust was torched, I mean really burnt. And after all that, they still added a 20% gratuity to our check. The server's name was Tim and we sat at table 28. The manager never came back to check on us either. This joint is unrecommended.
Pros: The restuarant was clean
Cons: Bad service, burnt pizza
