New York Adjustment Bureau

We had been hit by hurricane Sandy on 10/29/2012. Insurance company inspected our damage right away and issued a check of forty something thousands dollar to us. I signed the contract with them to let them represent me to work on the claim with the insurance company in order to get the supplement of the missing items. They got into the case two day after I received the check. It is 10 days after I signed the contract.They never inspect the damage, never take a picture, never measure the size of the house, and seldom to answer the phone calls or respond the voice messages.After few months, on April 12, 2013 Anthony Luparello sent me a letter saying that ""however we are not requesting the full 10% which would be $4639.61 of $46,396.19. We're only requesting $1500."" On June 17, 2013, their attorney Petter J. Dimarinis sent me a letter to ask for retainer fee $4,636.91.As the result of their none performing, I didn't get any supplement of missing items since they got into the claim.\r more

I had significant water damage in my basement and called very late, however, someone was there to calm my fears and assign an adjuster to assess the damage immediately. The adjuster arrived on time and quickly put my fears at ease and helped settle my claim. I do not think the process would have gone as smooth had I hired an organization without the experience NY Adjustment has with insurance companies. Pros: Professional, Diligent, Quick and Thorough Cons: None that come to mind more

6 months ago my mother had a fire in her home in Queens. At 5:30 in the morning a adjuster from New Tork Adjustment Bureau knocked at my door. He said he could help me, I decided to hire them. It was a big mistake. It has been over six months & I cant even get a phone call. No one ever calls me back. What ever you do be carful of these guys! more
