Good food in a surprising location 7/8/2008

I heard about New Manila from some friends and I decided to try it. It's a little small and it's a different dining experience, but the food is really good. A big bowl of rice and this dish called bistick is sooooo good! I also loved this dessert called Halo Halo. Try it, it's perfect for a hot summer day! Pros: Food, Halo Halo, small grocery inside Cons: Small, sometimes gets too packed more

The food is excellent. The rich and hearty tastes of the Philippines right in your mouth. Very Mom and Pop type place. The baked goods are to die for and so filling. A little bit goes a long way with a side of rice. Excellent service! more

I love it! It's small and quaint, but the food is real Filipino food. If you're looking for authentic, this is the place! And the owner is the kindest, sweetest man ever! more
