This place is great! The price is very reasonable. The food is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly. They are located right above an Asian market, so you can get lots of other awesome stuff when you stop by. I got the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special (I posted a picture of this as well) to go. You get lots of food with it, for a crazy low price of $5.96. I think the best part about the Sesame Chicken is that all of the pieces of chicken are small/medium sized, so they get a perfect, slightly crunchy outside. The sauce is not just a plain ""sweet"" sauce, but rather is delicious peanut sauce with a slight spice kick. How can you go wrong!?\r \r My only complaint with New Jingo's would be that they are not the fastest chinese takeout place. It takes about half an hour for a lunch special order if they aren't too busy. So just make sure you order ahead! But trust me, it is WELL worth the wait!\r \r Also, they are open til 2am Thursday through Saturday! Cannot suggest this place enough! more

I think New Jingo's is the best Chinese restaurant in Columbia, well at least for delivery. However, delivery takes at least twice the estimated time (I've waited 2 hours before). But as far as food, it's delicious!! I normally order the beef with garlic sauce with white rice and crab Rangoon (which are great!). Their garlic sauce is wonderful. It has a spicy bite but its not over powering at all, and it makes the rice taste even better!\r Today I switched it up and ordered the chicken with mushrooms and I was a bit disappointed. There were only like 6 pieces of chicken and a TON of mushrooms, and there wasn't a lot of flavor. I assume the amount of chicken was bc it was a lunch special but I thought I was getting chicken with mushrooms, not mushrooms with chicken. more

Best Moo Shoo ever! I've been ordering Mou Shoo or Mu Shu or .. since Madame Wong's in 1981. This is by far the home of the best Mou Shoo I've ever tasted.\r \r Perfect. I'm often tempted to drive back to Columbia just to have more. It was a big plate full, enough that I had some of it boxed up to go, and there were plenty of the pancakes to spread plum sauce and to stuff with veggies and meat. While it's nice, I prefer to stuff my own use my hands and then chopsticks, then my fork to get every morsel. Here, it's well worth it. I found this restaurant while visiting Columbia thanks to Yelp and the good reviews are genuine. Not a lot of atmosphere but cheap, tasty excellent Chinese food. \r \r As I write this I'm determined to go back and sample the Mou Shou again and make sure it's as great as I remember. Stay tuned... more

This place is pretty good. Not only do they have the regular american-chinese items, but they have a menu (the one with white paper) that is in all chinese, and so us non-chinese speakers can play menu-roulette and try something new. One thing I can recommend is the chicken-cabbage-ginger sauce item, which is on the 'other' menu. From the english menu, I would try spicy pepper-beef noodle soup. Be careful, it's huge. Another good item is an eggplant dish with vegetables and brown sauce. Lastly, for the alt-rice-group, they have brown rice available, so that's always nice and different.\r \r Other than that, keep an eye out for the owner's children, who are fun to be around; if business is slow that day, you might find them sleeping in a booth, or playing a video game on the t.v. at the front counter.\r \r They also deliver! more

It takes a lot for me to write a review about a Chinese restaurant; there's just so many and oftentimes they're so similar. Not the case with New Jingo's.\r \r My meal was delivered, so right there my expectations were lower than normal. The sesame chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, egg rolls the same, crab rangoon actually contained crab instead of just sweetened cream cheese, and the potstickers were the best I've had. Much to my surprise, the sesame chicken was still crispy the next day as leftovers.\r \r I'll definitely be back (or order again). Highly recommended if you're tired of the same old places with special. more

I LOVE JINGO S ...no way around it. I still dream about their Orange Chicken and the crab rangoon is amazing! I'm pretty sure there is an entire secret menu, maybe not so secret but written in mandarin. I used to see people ordering different things all the time. Everything here is delicious. more

Jingo's is easily the best Chinese in Columbia. The staff is always friendly, and although it can be a long wait for carry-out food or deliveries on a busy weekend, it is always worth it. To hell with El Rancho. Jingo's is all I need for a late night, post-bar fat fest. Best items: Spring Rolls Crab Rangoon Lar-Lar Chicken Whatever they are making for themselves for lunch - Get that. They know what's amazing, and it usually isn't on the menu. more

The food was hot, tasted good and there was plenty of food. Delivery was polite, and a little long considering the distance but that wasn't the delivery guy's fault. What was disappointing is that the menu in grubHub for the New Jingo's, they offered Coke products. I ordered a bottle of Diet Coke. What I got was two cans of Diet Pepsi. I specifically went with New Jingo's because they DID offer Coke. Kinda put damper on the whole meal. more

I'm not going to lie, the owners who had it before were not good cooks. I remember eating there a few times before and I never went back. Now with the new owners the food really is amazing (esp. Mongolan Beef & Chicken dishes). Its hard to find a good Chinese Restaurant and this one is definitely one of them. The have lunch specials too so its a cheap price! more

Okay, so you may have to take everything I say in this review with a grain of salt because A) they were the ONLY place we found open after an hour of wandering around on New Year's Day and B) they were playing Spirited Away. I grew up on Hayao Miyazaki films, so I was super duper thrilled (read:distracted and ignoring friends) all through dinner. more

I love that this place is usually filled with Chinese people (and has an entirely separate menu in Chinese). They serve the best Moo-Shu (all varieties) ever. more

My co-workers and I are regulars there. They are just down the block from our office. We have never had anything bad there. We almost always have great service and our food is always steaming hot. Their prices are reasonable as well. more

The restaurant is small but cozy with a view of downtown Columbia. It is family-run, and not very spacious nor is it a romantic atmosphere, but the food is delicious-- always served hot and satisfies a craving for good Chinese food. My favorite dish is the honey chicken, which on its own is not a spicy dish, but can be made spicy upon request...I highly recommend the spicy version. The crab rangoon is excellent. Both egg drop and hot and sour soup are also very good. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Columbia. more
