Took classes at New Horizons Orlando and it was one of the best choices I ever made. I had a Computer Science degree but could not get a good IT job because everyone wanted certifications. I received more hands on training with their labs in 3 months then I did all 4 years getting my degree. Job placement assistance was good and my employer had sent their IT guys to New Horizons for training so it really worked out well. more

I attended a Open House. They provided some hands on training at the event. I then scheduled to meet with a NH rep. He took the time to explain to me what a career in IT takes. He also showed me all the companies that were taking classes. All the job post I see were asking for certification. I think new horizons is a great Microsoft and Cisco training school. I am now a certified IT pro. I would recommend NH to anyone that asks. Samuel C MS Certificed IT Pro more

This people are the biggest ripoff in the entire state... I will Explain; 1. You send them your resume because you saw a position posted by them for a job, and so they call you asking you to come in for an interview to discuss your skills and placement. Or another way they use to get you in is they search careerbuilder. monster., indeed, and other services where you have posted your resume and so they tell u to come in for an Interview . Remember that this people are super convincing and often make you think that you are wrong and that they are there to hire you. 2. You drive to New Horizon and when you get there and the interview starts very professional and everything but then they start offering you certifications in order to be eligible for a job. They start giving you prices of each certification and from there it is just lie after lie after lie. They tell you that once you take the certifications they will place you in a good job and that they are the top who knows what in the U.S and blah blah blah.. 3. The point is that they get you there making you think you will have a job interview when they will really sell you certifications. This is from what they make a living. each certification can range from $150.00$ and up and they always want to start you with like 3 certifications. 4. Be careful this guys are SUPER CONVINCING AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I left their offices and decided to decline on their Offer and they call me for weeks insisting to go and get certified so then they could find me a job. YOU TELL ME WHEN DOES AN INTERVIEWER CALLS YOU BEGGING TO COME IN? NEVER 5. AGAIN BE CAREFUL SUPER CONVINCING INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL PERSUADE YOU INTO THEIR TRICKS. more

WOULD A REPUTABLE BUSINESS REFUSE TO GIVE PAYING CUSTOMERS THE OWNER'S CONTACT INFO WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. NEW HORIZONS in Orlando refused.-- Me and my fiance visited New Horizons in Orlando. The recruiter said that the student loan was going to be deferred for 2 years. The false ad is running in the Employment Guide stating tuition is deferred up to 24 mos. But in reality, they do not offer that plan. The recruiter pitched us the 2 year deferred plan but signed my fiance up with the one year deferred plan without our knowledge. I am my fiance's co-signer. I feel that they tries to make their offer look more desirable and attractive by running a false ad. When we complained about being mislead, they just brushed us off. They do not handle complaints like they are concern. I feel that they treated us like once they got the tuition money, we did not matter any more. Before my fiance register for classes, he asked the recruiter will he be taught Win 98, ME and 2000. The recruiter told him yes. But he graduated from the program and was not taught the programs. They did not offer it during the day time but was not informed. If you plan to register with this school, I suggest that you be very care. Pros: Nice instructors Cons: unprofessional staffs and misleading recruiter more
