The first day that we brought our son to New Horizons Child Care to take a tour was the best impression. Having looked at several others and liking things about them, but still not finding that ""Place"" that my son and my family would fit was a bit daunting. There are many Day Care Centers out there, and my wife wanted to tour them all. Many of the places that we saw were very nice but lacked something. We walked in the door to the Directors office, at New Horizons and she immediately greeted us, and then greeted my son. I loved that she took the time to greet my son. He didn't think a thing about it, but my wife and I did. Then we toured the infant room. The lead teacher spoke to me and my wife, and immediately went to my son. You could see the ""LOVE"" that she had for children. She was so kind and genuine. That kind act was what started our love for New Horizons. Since that day there has never been another choice. It was the ""Place"" for him, and my daughter. Many daycares have the appeal, have the certifications, and have the people to teach. New Horizons has the certifications, the apeal, the Teachers. And the love and affection that builds and developes our children. But don't take my word for it. Come see and experience the difference. . more

I can't say enough good things about New Horizons Child Care. My son went there since he was 4, and my two other children stayed there from the day they entered child care through Kindergarten. Children are held to high standards, but they are redirected positively, kindly and with respect. Children going into Kindergarten are well prepared academically, but more importantly, they have learned to follow rules and interact positively with other children and adults.\r \r Most of the head teachers are the same ones that were there 7 years ago when my oldest started. Once children come to New Horizons, they rarely leave. This has led to a community feeling, and strong relationships, which have continued long after ""graduating"" from preschool.\r \r My experience with other childcare centers before finding New Horizons, showed me that even though other childcare centers seemed fine (or even good), there is no comparison to the quality program at New Horizons. My oldest son was developmentally delayed and had learned poor behaviors and coping mechanisms at other centers . The teachers at New Horizons worked with him, and brought in a counselor from Imprints. Since entering school he hasn't had any behavior issues, has many friends, and is an AG student. I credit New Horizons with turning him around. My other two children are also academically advanced for their age and have never had behavior issues. more

New Horizons child care is simply the best! I am a big believer in word of mouth being the best advertising someone can have. When I was looking for a daycare for my son while I was still pregnant, I heard nothing but rave reviews about NH and to look no further for the best daycare. We visited and I instantly loved it and the people! My son has been going there since he was 12 weeks old and I have always felt comfortable leaving him. The staff are very attentive to all the children and the amount my child has learned in his first few years is amazing. I love that they have music class and a very structured schedule here! I can thank them for getting my child on a routine! If you want an excellent group of people to care of your child/children, make sure to visit New Horizons Child Care! more

New Horizons child care is wonderful! My son began attended when he was 3, he came from another center - and based on experience I can say there is nothing like NH!!! He was prepared and ready for Kindergarten. My daughter has been attending since she was 12 weeks old and loves going to ""school"" each day and learning new things. The teachers are very nurturing and create fun and exciting ways to learn. New Horizons provides a safe and loving environment. New Horizon provides so much more than child care, when I leave my child each day, I know she will be loved, well taken care of and have a fun time more

I have been at New Horizons for 3 years now. One of my children just finished Kindergarten and she was very well prepared by Mrs. VaLorie. My youngest is now in the 4 year old class and she enjoys going to school at New Horizons. I know they are preparing her for school as well. She is not quite 4 and she can count to 25 and she recoginizes letters and numbers. \r \r I was at a commercial daycare previously and was unhappy with the turnover. The turnover at New Horizons is much lower. You can tell Mrs. Charlene and the staff love the children. more

I couldn't be happier with New Horizons. My little one is only 4 months old and I was very, very anxious about leaving him and going back to work. But the staff has made my transition so much easier! They are very kind and you can tell that they truly care about the children. I fully trust that he is well taken care of each day and that makes all the difference. \r My little guy is very happy here. Happy baby = happy momma! more

My husband and I have been nothing but pleased with New Horizons. The staff is friendly, very kind to children, eager to communicate and collaborate with parents, and open to suggestions and feedback. They recognize that parents also have expertise and know their child's strengths and needs. Curriculum and instruction is a focus at New Horizons, which parallels our nation's rising focus on K-2 education for our children. We look forward to watching our child continue to grow in future classrooms and would highly recommend New Horizons to parents who are interested in being partners in education. more

New Horizons has been providing child care for our children for over 8 years and it is truly a special center. You will not find a center that genuinely loves your children any more than New Horizons! As new parents, we had an unpleasant experience with another center and were distraught as the child care selection process with an infant is extremely stressful. We met the staff at New Horizons and knew immediately that we would not have our daughter attend any other center. The staff and teachers are wonderful and I have the utmost trust with them.\r \r As a parent, you can rest assured that your children are in a safe and caring environment. Additionally, the Pre K program they have in place is fantastic. Our daughter was well prepared for kindergarten and has excelled in school without any adjustment issues. I cannot say enough positive things about New Horizons! They are the best. more

I am pleased to say that I have had both of my children (14 years old and 5 years old) at this center. My children enjoyed their time there and learned so much. This center takes children safety and education first. My oldest child loved being there and the environment so much, she likes to help volunteer in the summer. This center was my FIRST choice when I began looking 14 years ago. No other center compared to New Horizons. The teachers are amazing and Holly and Charlene are great leaders. When my oldest started school out of district, I had to transfer her to another center and was VERY disappointed. I immediately called Charlene and begged her to let my child come back. I was willing to take a lunch just to get her from school to New Horizons where I knew she was in good hands. I also talked to Ms. Holly and asked her to help mold my child back to who she was. It didn't take long for my child to become the loving child she was before I had to move her. I HIGHLY recommend this center for your little one. more

New Horizons Childcare is an amazing child care center. I have had the pleasure of interacting with the director and her staff for nearly 7 years (2 children). I have nothing but positive things to say about this center and the staff. The director is open to feedback and truly cares about the children and their families. I found a family within this community of teachers and would HIGHLY recommend New Horizons for infant through preschool age children! My son still considers Ms. Holly to be his all time favorite teacher! more

They spelled curriculum ""cirriculum"". When I asked my child's teacher about the Spanish class, she gave me a blank stare. There is a music class, but it costs extra and if you don't pay for it your child is left alone with maybe one other kid in the classroom (and a teacher). more

My granddaughter has been at NHCC for 5/30/2012

My granddaughter has been at NHCC for three years. She has graduated now and will be going to kindergarten next year. I am so sad she will be leaving. They have done a great job preparing her for her next journey. I am so pleased with how good and caring the teachers were and will miss them all. I would definitely recommend New Horizons Child Care. more

Mom's & Dad's this is the Place for your child. 3/8/2012

When I became a new resident to N.C. with no family or friends here, I never thought I would find a home within my job. I have made many life long friends over the past 12 years working at New Horizons Child Care. I love going out into the Clemmons & Lewisville Community hearing children shout out my name in the grocery stores and showering me with hugs while hearing stories about thier newest learning adventures. At New Horizons child care the teachers are educated, well trained, and experienced. They provide so many educational and exciting learning activities. But most imporantly we provide neverending Love, Laughter, Safety, and support. more

Wonderful teachers, owner has heart of gold, my kids LOVE it 1/16/2007

Love this day care. My kids have learned more than I ever expected and they love to go to ""school"". The infant room teachers are the best. Pros: Location, great teachers, not just a play group but kids learn Cons: Don't really have any more
