Worst

I had my cat declawed here, and he got an infection because of litter going up into the surgerical sites. This is not my normal vet, but I chose them for convenience. Apparently...

The ONLY clinic for our pets!!! 5/1/2012

Dr. McKaig and his staff are top notch! They have always gone out of their way for any special requirements I may have with my animals, thorough with explanations, professional and courteous. Pricing won't break the bank and the facility is always clean. I have never had to wait an overly long time for my appointments and they are very responsive and helpful in emergency situations. \r \r I have used Dr. McKaig for my pets for 18 years....and my mother has much longer....we couldn't see going anywhere else! more

cat services 10/22/2010

I had my cat declawed here, and he got an infection because of litter going up into the surgerical sites. This is not my normal vet, but I chose them for convenience. Apparently they do not use alternative litter (such as yesterday's news). I regret not researching them better and asking the right questions. I would definitely not recommend this pet hospital. more

Awesome groomers 6/4/2008

Our dog gets groomed every couple of months and this is the best place we have ever gone. The staff are all exceptionally nice and really seem to know your pet. I could not believe all the things they do for the price. I thought it to be an excellent deal. Much cheaper than other places. All the groomers do a fantastic job. Our dog leaves there all clean, clipped and cute! We will not go to another groomer. more

Great 1/28/2008

I have been taking my pets to New Haven Pet Hospital for several years and actually drive 20-25 minutes to go there. The Vets are all very friendly, knowledgeable and caring and get to know you and your pet on an individual basis. I love going somewhere where they recognize me when I walk in the door and the staff is always there to greet me and my pet so happily. more

Inexpensive boarding, friendly staff 9/9/2005

We have boarded our dog at New Haven Pet Hospital several times in the past 2 years and have been satisfied with their service. The waiting room is often very chaotic when dropping off/picking up, so that is a frustration. The facility seems clean and the staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable for boarding, compared to the other kennels we've used in the area. more

They make pet feel like they are on top of the world 7/13/2005

I have taken my animals to many places for care, but this is the best place I have found in my area. They take such great care of the animals here. THey treat them like family. I have found a great group of people here and will never leave as long as they let me stay there. PROS: Treat animals awesome CONS: prices are high but well worth it more
