New Hampshire Car Wash

Really an unsafe place. Initially, a worker opened the car and shoved me towards a door, in spite of a handicapped tag displayed on the mirror and a cane on the front seat; seemed to think it was funny as I stumbled. They did a very good job on the car, but as I was getting ready to leave, a worker rammed into my rear bumper. The workers insisted that I'd backed into the car behind me, although I hadn't moved at all. I know enough Spanish to recognize the names they were calling me, too! I got the owner, who came out and claimed that neither car had moved, and that there had been no incident at all, in spite if the damage to my bumper. Rather than call the Police, I just left - the crease in my bumper was small and it's a five year old car. It's a shame they all acted so irresponsibly, when they washed my car so well. I'll never go back. I'll go to a place where my person and property are not placed at risk, and I don't get insulted by the workers. more

This is a good car wash in a horrible location. It is right smack dab on a busy street, which means that you should avoid this place at all costs when the pollen strikes or when there hasn't been much rain. On busy days, the wait can be as long as an hour, which means that cars are blocking traffic on New Hampshire Avenue; it is just a headache for all involved. It is a nice car wash otherwise. It is the kind where you get out of the car and watch as your car goes through process of being cleansed by machines, as opposed to sitting in the car while it occurs. I personally like this better after getting stuck in a carwash as a kid. There is also a little shop that sells every variety of those car freshners that you hang on your rearview mirror, as well as other goods for the upkeep of your car's appearance. more
