Deli A-1/pricing c- 10/2/2009

I really love the deli in thiis store,their quiche is to die for and after trying the tofu salad i can say it may be possible to eat healthy.lol The problem is pricing,deli items made on site are worth it,taste outways price.But for stock items most can be bought for far less. more

Overpriced 4/2/2008

While this store has a wide selection. I have to say it's incredibly overpriced. I moved from an island in Alaska where everything had to be shipped in. I was shocked to see the prices as high or higher at New Frontiers. It just takes away from that groovy feeling one hopes for in a place like this. Not to mention most of the employees are too busy talking about what drunken college party they went to the night before. There's a real coop in the same town, check it out. more

Fantastic for vegans in SLO area 1/20/2008

Its is hard to find vegan food items in the central coast area, this place has everything you're looking for. I used to go to wild oats in Long Beach, and since I moved up here I have not been happy with the grocery stores until I found this one! more

Great Except For What's Missing 6/14/2005

New Frontiers offers everything a natural supermarket should, but every now and then, something pops up - like super processed pasteurized orange juice. Just that, literally, sent me back to Trader Joe's, where they have fresh squeezed. more

Great all the way around 6/12/2005

They carry a wide selection of organic choices of bulk, packaged dry, and easy to prepare foods. The meat selection is great, but the organic fruits and veggies are lacking. The deli... FANTASTIC, creative and super tasty dishes. PROS: Deli, Bulk, packaged foods, meats CONS: Organic produce more
