Great food at a good price. The gentleman who seats you and mans the cash register is extremely polite. Can't say enough good things about the place and I can't wait to go back.

I have visited this restaurant about 8 times and have really enjoyed the food, service and ambience. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and tasty. The dinner menu is also well-priced, not cheap, but a good meal and worth the price. The staff is friendly and efficient. Authentic, affordable, spot on! 2/1/2007

When you walk in you know it's authentic from the aromatic smells. This place is the real deal. Everything is high quality and cooked to perfection. Try the lamb tandori and the veggie samosas. We found this place and read the reviews on Citysearch fist and they were spot on! Big perk, service is extremely friendly. Don't waste your $ anywhere else. Best Indian Food in Portland, great lunch buffet, very nice owner/servers 1/13/2007

I love Indian food, and I've tried many places in Portland and I've been here tons of times and twice for the lunch buffet and I've NEVER been disappointed. Try the mango lassi, the veggie pakoras, veggie samosas, and the tandori chicken. Actually just try everything, you can't go wrong. The service time is normal to slightly slow, but the owner and the servers are incredibly nice and attentive. Please try this place, you won't be disappointed! I'm new to the area, and have tried at least 4 other Indian restaurants and this is the best so far. It was very hard to spot from the road, but well worth the hunt! Very Clean Atmosphere, Friendly Service, and Excellent Food. Great Lunch Buffet!! Pros: Very inexpensive Lunch Buffet...and it's awesome Cons: Dinners are a little pricey for the area more

The best Indian food I have ever had! The chicken tikka masala is so yummy, the naans are made to perfection and the service is very friendly and attentive. They have updated the look of the place and it gets nicer and nicer everytime I visit (which is often.) Just writing about it makes me want to go get the buffet... Indian without the overpowering curries and exotics that make your hair curl. Dishes are prepared in an old world style and served with elegance. Excellent food and wonderful service 12/15/2005

One night my husband and I stepped inside the doors of this dark looking location. We hesitated at the door, as there were few people inside. One couple who had just finished eating told us that we should not hesitate and that the food was wonderful. I would like to thank them if I see them again, as this place is a great find. The food is truly excellent. The garlic narn is very delicious, as are chicken tandoori and lamb biryani. I intend to try their whole menu! So far I was not disappointed. The service is really excellent. There is basically one waiter and he may be the best waiter I have seen in any restaurant. He is great at anticipating customer needs. When we go out just to eat, relax, and have a good time, this is our place now. more

Ok...so I work out of my home...so let's just say that I eat out a great deal, just to get out of the house. I should have been a critic. Have tried probably every Indian place in town, and this was really a good find. The ambience is basic, but the food is very good, the service is great, and the place is a clean as a whistle (none of that funny indian food stuffy smell). Went out to dinner with my partner, and then tried the ""all you can eat"" lunch buffet two days later MAJOR VALUE, great selection, and not skimpy on the meat dishes...all for only $6.95...my new lunch stop. Great Indian food in a strip mall! 6/3/2005

This place is great! I was very hungry, so we ordered an appetizer, which was delicious, and arrived very soon after ordering. My date & I ordered the tandoori-oven shrimp, and the chicken tikka masala. Both entrees we shared were delicious. Plenty of shrimp! The tikka masala chicken was so good, we almost licked the dish clean. Dessert- rice pudding: we had never tried it before, but it's delicious. more

EXCELLENT Service 11/23/2004

My wife and I went there on a Friday night and although the restaurant's parking is not the best, the food, service and value are. Service couldn't be better and they made us feel at home. Meat, vegetables, cool desserts etc. more

A great choice 10/18/2004

This is one of our favorite places in town. The food is always spiced to perfection. There are so many standout dishes --- a cut above the standard Indian fare. The buffet is an exceptional value, and in our opinion the best in town. Service is gracious and attentive. We will be back many times. Pros: Excellent food, Friendly service, Great value more
