I had just moved to Chesapeake and didn't know anyone. I goggled 'hair stylist' and New Creations came up close to my house. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I was impressed!! It was an enjoyable experience. The shop is clean and April did a great job cutting my hair!! I'll go back when I need my hair cut and I'd recommend New Creations. more

Great Atmosphere 8/4/2006

This is a small salon but you know the saying, "Great things can come in small packages". I have been going to this salon for about three years. There are only three workstations for hairdressers so it is a small and quiet place. Nice, subtle music playing in the background. They always ask if you would like anything to drink (coffee, tea, water, soda). The great thing about April (the owner), is that when she does your hair she takes notes on an index card as to what she did for you on that visit, so that when you come back for your next cut/color she knows exactly the style she gave as well as the color. She knows exactly who you are when you come in. I have had a massage here that I can't complain about as well. The only bad thing is that because it is a small salon you need to book you appointment well in advance. S. Jackson Chesapeake, VA more

nice place 10/31/2005

My daughter wanted a new do and had a very specific style in mind. We were passing by New Creations and decided to check it out. I had never heard of it but we took a chance. My first impression was that it was a nice, clean salon. They have a waiting area with cookies and a small drink bar set up for tea/coffee/sodas. We thought this was very nice touch. We had a short wait and then the stylist came over to introduce herself and find out the style my daughter was interested in. She was very nice and listened and seemed to know just what she wanted. Well, my daughter was thrilled with the outcome. She said it was perfect. They offer spa-type services such as massages, eyebrow waxing, mani/pedi, etc. I wouldn't mind going back and trying a few out. The prices are what you would expect from a nicer salon--$25 for my daughter's wash/cut. It's not a fancy place, but it has a nice atmosphere, music playing and it's very clean and new looking. more

    To ensure all appointments run as smoothly as possible, late appointment arrivals may require us to shorten the length of your service, change technicians or require rescheduling.


    Your appointment is reserved just for you!


    Your credit card or gift certificate # is required to secure all spa or chemical services one hour or more. No show appointments will be charged 100% of the total on the day of service.


    In consideration of other clients and our employees, we ask for at least a 48 hour notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for all appointments not kept within 24 hours..
