New China Buffet 2/28/2006

The New China Buffet is a reliable Chinese restaurant in Woodridge/Darien. For less than ten dollars, you get a large selection of entrées, fresh maki rolls made in front of you, a smoothie bar, ice cream, and beverages. When you're in the mood for Chinese, it's hard to beat this bargain of a meal. The atmosphere is pretty much nonexistent, but if you're in the mood to stuff yourself silly, you've hit the jackpot! more

Good Food at a Good Price 1/27/2006

The constant crowd at New China Buffet is a testament to their standing as a good Chinese buffet restaurant. Prices are more than reasonable at less than $10 for a dinner buffet consisting of many many hot entrées, a full salad bar, a sushi bar, ice cream, and smoothies. I think my favorite part of NCB is the sushi bar--you can watch them make and plate the sushi, so there's no need to worry about how long it's been sitting out. The atmosphere is decidedly lackluster and very "Vegas buffet," but for less than $10 a head for dinner, it's hard to find a better bargain for reliable Chinese food and sushi. more
