Surely this place does not serve authentic Thai, said my Thai friend. Yet she said she enjoyed the meal. The pad thai here, which I love, is a little more slippery than the other pad thai's that tend to be slightly dry. Yes, somewhat oily but that makes the noodle taste good. My recommendation here is fried rice, Chef Special if you like garlicky taste. Pad Cashew with chicken is also a nice choice, and so are the curry dishes, both red and green. Satay here is pretty good for an appetizer. If you like duck, New Bangkok duck is something to try.\r
At least some of the servers are from Laos. Though this place may not serve authentic Thai, it is Thai-and other Southasian food mixed and it tastes good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Michigan. Also, in case of noodles or fried rice, you are almost guaranteed to have left overs.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Just like in other restaurants with too many menus, occasionally some are not as good
