Pizza used to be very good. Many of the ingredients where shipped from the east coast. Ownership changed a couple of years back and the pizza is a shadow of its former self. No longer a quality pizza. I prefer Este, or to a lesser extent, Big Apple. Cons: Ownership Change more

We were looking for a place for grandparents, mom's and Dad's, and kids, to eat after the Festival of Trees last November. Driving South on State Street I spied Nevoles and said Pizza! Everyone agreed. Now, I am from New York, so was expecting to get typical Utah pizza and hoping it wouldn't be too bad. As we were walking in, I saw the claim of NYC style pizza and thought, ""Yeah, I've heard that before"". Then I walked in and could tell by the wonderful aroma in the air I had stumbled upon something good. Huge pies, thin crust, delicious sauce, perfect cheese, tasty pepperoni! Best pizza this side of Buffalo, New York. There were 8 of us including kids. We got 2 large and they cut the slices in half so the kids could handle them. We inhaled our slices until we were so full we couldn't move. Still took home almost a whole pizza. We have returned several times and I can't eat pizza anywhere else now, even though it is a 30 minute drive for us. The service has always been very friendly and good, good salad bar too. Being from New York, this is by far the best pizza in town. The closest to Brooklyn style you will find here in Utah. I am so happy to find a place that makes it closer to home. Pros: Great Taste-Great Service...Pizza Done right. NO PINEAPPLES ON PIZZA-and eat with hands...Not Knife and Fork. I have been eating pizza for many years! I have not been pleased with the quality and taste of any Pizza in utah until I ate at Nevole's over a year ago. I have not been able to eat other pizza since because it does not compare! They moved to a bigger location with great atmosphere and have improved the salad bar without making you pay for their upgrades! Very well priced for the quality! It gets busy sometimes but the staff is doing great with all the changes and trying their best to make sure you get good service. My daughter asks to eat there at least 2-3 times per week. Although we don't, we would if we could. She and I can eat at the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for under $15 and there is no mystery meat or ingredients here!! Tell me where else you can have a great lunch that you and your child will both enjoy! You pay that much at fast food restaurants and admit it a mystery burger or cardboard flavored pizza just aren't satisfying. Nice place Awesome food Like everywhere there are some growing pains with the move. We are regular Happy customers here The atmosphere is nice the employees are also very friendly. As a transplant from New York, this USED to be the best pizza in Utah. Sadly, since the change in ownership and the recent move to a new location, the quality of the pie has dropped drastically and the service is awful. The pricing has increased ""so the customers can fit"" into the building. Bad, Bad, BAD, BAD move. The new owner is smug and his staff is too confident in its poor service. Lunch buffet used to be a great value - now at $9, it's just not worth it. Stay away from Nevoles - I would recommend Este in Sugarhouse if you're looking for NY style pizza- Pros: Location Cons: Everything else more

Excellent New York style pizza. Crust is thin. Cheese and sauce are delicious. The pizza is better with fewer toppings--try just plain cheese. It's my favorite.
