My family doctor made my MRI of my brain appointment for 1:00pm, so being a good patient showed up early to fill out paperwork. Then as I'm hyperventalating & having a panic attack in the waiting room, a patient also waiting to be seen offers me a valum?! And the receptionist comes over to tell me that now I'll have to wait until 2:30pm! I went outside to get some fresh air, come back in and am immediately taken to the back and was told that I will be in the closed MRI. Now what kind of decent human being would put me through that? A closed one, while my entire body is shaking, I can't see right and I'm about to pass out... They weren't there to help or be sympathetic, they were there to get me in and out. So while in the closed, I had another anxiety/panic spree & was yelling and swearing to get me out, as the tech continued to stand behind the glass and say, ""Ma'am, this is not a slingshot, you'll have to wait."" WELL, THAT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I started to dry heave, and the woman thats supposed to be helping walked right out of the room, without comfort or even a garbage pail to toss my cookies in. There's so much more to this, but small part of information should be enough to NEVER, and I mean NEVER, send someone you care about to this ridciulous place they call ""professional"".
