neurological center of east ga 6/30/2008

I have been hurting for years and have gotten nowhere with my doctors, until I went to Dr. Taormina. He knew right away what to do for me and the medicine I needed to obtain relief. I had foot pain and was very moody. As soon as he saw me in his office and started me on the correct medicine, I started to feel better. I no longer have the burning pain in my foot and I feel so much better. My moodiness is gone and my wife sure is glad as well as myself. Pros: knew exactly what I needed! Cons: need more professional doctors like him. more

Avoid At All Costs 11/11/2007

At first, I was highly confident with his practice, however at just a few visits with him I knew that my cat was able to perform Neurology better than he can. He ruled out Multiple Sclerosis before even doing any Neurological Evaluation. He also decided he wanted to check me for things he knew nothing about, all my other doctors agree that he is not the doctor to see. And the bad thing is besides him I am seeing 6 other doctors. Pros: His staff are overly friendly and ready to help Cons: He is very shovanistic, and not friendly at all more

Horrible, Avoid if at all Possible 11/11/2007

This doctor is a complete butt, he doesn't know anything about Neurology, and he calls his self a Neurologist. If you need to see a Neurologist, either go to Savannah to see the Neurology Specialists of Savannah. Dr. Frank LaFranchise (his number is 912-364-7676) there is awesome. Dr. Taormina has no bedside manner at all, and you can tell that he is only a doctor for the money, not for the desire to help others. He is a very pompous man. Please go elsewhere, that is, unless you would like to wait until the Neurological Institute of Savannah is actually at his office (their number is 912-764-9865). Pros: Parking, Friendly Staff Cons: Unfriendly, uncaring, and unknowledgeable doctor more
