My experience with Neumann Enterprises had been fine - until I saw the charges on my credit card.
I was planning a birthday party for my daughter and asked friends for recommendations for limo companies. One friend suggested the company her friend's nephew works for, Neumann Enterprises.
I called and spoke with the owner who said he had the right size limo for the right price, $80/hr for minimum of three hours, plus tax and gratuity. He held my reservation on my credit card in case I cancelled the reservation. The charge for cancelling the reservation would be $100.
On the day of our event, our driver had me sign the paperwork for agreed upon amount, $240 plus tax and I paid her a $50 cash tip.
Recently, as I was reviewing my credit card statement, I found that there was actually a $100 charge put thru by Neumann Enterprises when I held the reservation, but realized it was never credited back to my credit card or applied to my bill from Neumann.
I called yesterday and ""Jason"" reviewed my account and said someone would call me today with an explanation. I did not receive a call and nobody left a message for me. I called again just a few minutes ago and was advised by Jason that I had been charged for the driver's gratuity and the company had ""split the driving time to my house"" with me. No such arrangement had ever been mentioned to me. I was told I could call tomorrow and speak with the owner. I said I looked forward to his call and was told ""he is a very busy man and (I can) call him if I want to speak with him.""
I said I would be leaving negative comments for other's to consider. Jason said that would be fine.
Hopefully you take my $100 overcharge into consideration when you decide which limo company to hire.
