My husband and I had heard so many nice things about Nethercutt's Auto Museum that we decided to pay a visit to Sylmar earlier today.
There must have over 100 pre-WWII cars on display to keep us smiling for hours. I found the whole experience fascinating and educational. I had no idea there were so many US companies making cars pre WWII in America - I thought Ford, Oldsmobile and Chevy were pretty much it..
I was especially in awe with the fancy hood ornaments all these luxury cars had. In fact they have an entire wall of glass cases full of hood ornaments. Must be hundreds on display..
I would have left a 5 star review, but went with 4 instead because their 1937 Canadian Pacific Locomotive outside was closed to the public (due to restoration) and I had specifically wanted to check this out today. Before we visited the Museum, I checked out their website and it made no mention this cool train attraction was closed to the public today.
