I was there, It was great celebration of excellence.\r \r In August, NESCO (Needham Electric Supply) hosted a customer appreciation event for hundreds of customers and vendors from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont.\r Customer Appreciation Day 2013 kicked off with the GE Energy Odyssey Tour Bus parked in the front, giving customers hands on experiences with the latest GE technologies to improve facility safety, productivity and reliability.\r \r Customers were then invited to walk the trade show floor to visit with nearly 40 vendors including game-day sponsors GE Energy and GE Lighting. Customers were able to ask questions, test out new products, and even place orders. \r \r After lunch, customers headed to the Executive Suites to attend two, forty-five minute technical seminars of their choosing from GE Lighting, Hubbell Wiring, Firelite, Lutron, Boston Safety Training, Juno, RAB and Crouse-Hinds. After receiving a certificate of completion for their training, over 100 prizes were raffled off, including a signed Joe Andruzzi football and jersey, and the grand prize of two tickets to the November 24th New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos game. more

Personal Protective Equipment is never convenient. It's usually bulky, annoying, and sometimes in the way, but this particular helmet makes it just a little bit more tolerable. The face shield is mesh rather than plastic, keeping it easy to get air through, while still blocking chips, and can be easily shifted up to get out of the way when not working. The ear muffs are a nice tight fit (and hold the whole system nicely in place snugly), and are easy to snap up and rotate out of place when not cutting. The inner straps on the helmet are a nice canvas, so more comfortable than other helmets I've worn using plastic liner straps. Having everything combined makes it easy to remember to use it all, and makes it quick to toss on. Protecting your eyes, ears, and head are important, and this helmet is a great way to do it. more

I have been using this helmet for the past three days with my new pruner. I have a 7-1/4 head size and have had no issues with fit or adjustments. Pros: 1. Fits well 2. Ear protections does not rub at all 3. Face shield is Metal coated in Nylon. (not enough to stop anything huge but will stop most). 4. Hearing protection cancels out noise very well. Cons: 1. Face shield does not completely cover your chin. (so that you can look down and cut much easier 50/50 complaint) 2. Head band could use more for sweat but really isn't an issue. 3. Large safety glasses do not go behind your ears well. Use the smaller ones or get some good goggles. 4. Rain guard is a joke I threw it back in the box.Truthfully all of the cons really are not that big of deal to me. I picked this up at Shoppers Supply for $45.88. You have to put it together but it isn't rocket science it is a protective helmet. Overall it was a great buy and it really does help with debris flying at you. It won't stop everything but it will stop the bigger stuff. Also always wear Safety goggles with this helmet. If you want your eyes protected wear eye protection. You want your face, head, and ears protected wear this thing. more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NESCO. They will rip you off. NESCO stole more than $9,000 from us. Does not respond to phone calls, emails, or any form of contact. Avoid at all costs. more
