i am a pizza snob. i love it and can't eat one that's sub-par. but i must say that nello's pizza's thin crust pizza is fabulous. the sauce is perfect and the crust is baked to perfection. i went there for a friend's birthday and have been a repeat customer ever since. more

Top-notch pizza and service! 4/29/2007

I moved here from NYC not too long ago, and I love me some GREAT pizza. Nello's did not disappoint. Not NYC pizza by any means, but definitely DARN FANTASTIC. The service was phenomenal, and the staff was some of the nicest and most friendly staff we've encountered since arriving in the valley. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good pizza at a good price with good service! Pros: Everything about this place - it is my new favorite local pizza and italian restaurant. Cons: No cons! more

Great Carryout Pizza 7/8/2006

I am new to the Phoenix area and this is the best pizza I have had here. I ordered carryout and it was great because there was a large crowd waiting to be seated. Totally recommend the Chicago stye veggie pizza. Pros: Seperate carryout area more

This is by far the best pizza restaurant in Arizona..... It is my favorite place to go for friendly service and good consistent high quality food. It is always clean and cheerful. My favorites are the fresh chopped salad and the thin crust numero uno (handmade sausage and mushroom) You won't be disapointed!!!! Pros: everything! more

This is the best pizza I have had in Phoenix in alond time. Both the thin and thick crust pies were cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The garden salad was large enough for three of us to share. The also have a nice selection of draught beer. Pros: Great food, Good service, Inexpensive Cons: Crowded more

Great family place 12/3/2004

A real family-owned pizza restaurant with great food, service, and an excellent wine selection! It has been my favorite for over ten years. The owners are in every day making sure things are running well. You have to try the wood-fired thin crust pizza - it is the best in the Valley. Pros: Inexpensive, Great wine, Family friendly more

Best of Phoenix by far. Try the wheat crust, the greatest. Wonderful variety of toppings and their take-out service is wonderful. more
