Things like waiting to get in to see the doctor (what doctor doesn't have this?) or dealing with often moody office staff/assistants (they can be very up and down here) don't make or break a doctor for me.
I've spent 18 years going back and forth between specialists, even with a diagnosis there are often times symptoms that don't fit in with the dx.
Dr. Neiman is one of the few that "gets it", especially regarding pain, whether it be Fibro or RA or nerve pain.
If you need something, and you're willing to be patient and firm about getting the help, Dr. Neiman will be there.
He can come across as extremely ... scattered, but after 6 years of going to see Dr. Neiman it's more than obvious it has more to do with how much he has on his plate and the intelligence that so many doctors subvert.
Dr. Neiman will help you find whatever support you need, whatever doctors or tests you could possibly want/need, you just have to be patient during your visits.
Be ready to sit and wait, in the waiting area or in the room. If it's painful to do that, speak up.
Intelligent & Intellectual doesn't = cold or uncaring.
Impatient or Rushed doesn't = incompetent.
As with any doctor, be prepared to be your own best advocate.
