Neese-Jones installed the HVAC systems in all the homes in my neighborhood, between 1999-2002. The quality of workmanship in my home is horrible. To start with, they elevated the drain line on our second floor unit, such that water could not drain from the pan to the outside. They also installed the water sensor incorrectly, so this pan overflowed and damaged the ceiling in our home within six months of our moving in. A year later the ignitor burned out on our first floor unit, and they charged us nearly three-hundred dollars to install a thirty dollar part, which took the technician all of five minutes to install with a quarter-inch nut driver. Now, we're getting ready to finish our basement and we're being told that much of the ductwork will have to be redone, because it was hung too low to accommodate a drop ceiling. You can tell just from observation that their work is shoddy-- drooping ducts, poor tape around the joints, dangling wires outside the blower unit. My neighbors have voiced similar complaints about having to spend money to fix all the mistakes made by this company, so that they can finish their basements properly. I will never again hire this company to do any work on my HVAC systems, even if I have to pay double to someone else.
Pros: Timely service and kind, well-mannered staff
Cons: Poor quality work, especially for the premium prices they charge
