Dont get me wrong here, I like to sail and have a good time. When we looked into this I was overjoyed we had a boat to use at almost any time we wanted, but, !!!!!!! How can you rely on a boat that is broke all the time or has issues. I knew it was going to be bad because on our check out cruse the foward/reverse selector for the transmission would not work. Then there was the time I took out family and the main sail was furled up so tight I could not get it undone. Oh, what about the time I had a anniversary cruise scheduled and the generator would not work in the middle of summer. There was the time we were going out and the refrigerator was not working either. The straw that took the cake was the last time I went to go out and the head was not working. OK, i can see a few instances but come on guys. This has been an ongoing thing and Nautic share does not care, cause they feel they have your money for a year so why should they make you happy. more

After having spent a couple of years chartering boats and participating in other clubs here in the Kemah/Galveston area, I truly felt lucky when I found Nautic Share. With them, I am able to sail an up to date boat several times a month for the price of chartering for 1 day much older boats, far from the cleaning, maintenance and service I receive at NS. IThe fractional ownership of Nauticshare is unequivocally the best way to participate in sailing whether you are new to the sport or have been sailing for many years. The boats are meticulously maintained and always ready to sail. I have been a member almost since Kevin Kaiser started in Houston and have been an enthusiastic supporter of the concept ever since. This is a great concept that Kevin Kaiser has put into operation here in Kemah. The boats are always clean, fueled up, and pumped out. There have been 2 times over the past three years that there was something wrong with the boat and the operations manager took care of it before we left the dock in less than 10 minutes each time. I originally thought that i wanted to use this as a stepping stone to owning a boat, and may yet, but for now, this is the perfect mix of responsibility and enjoyment.
