Great customer service! Even better selection for someone like me who is hard to please. I wanted glasses that people would notice... not because everyone else had them but because they are unique. I've been going to Nauset Optical for close to 20 years. Never have I been disappointed with the quality of the product nor the service. Paul, the owner, has always stood behind my purchases. He has never rushed in caring for my needs. I recommend Nauset Optical to all who ask where I go for glasses and will continue to do so. more

I just purchased my first set of glasses from Nauset Optical. For years prior I had used Lenscrafter or other discounters. I always thought I received good service and quality lenses at those places, but the last time I used one, my glasses started accumulating ""spots"" after only a few months. I brought the glasses back but was told ""that’s what happens with lenses"". I discussed this problem with others and found it was common when using ""discount opticians"". I tried Nauset Optical on the recommendation of a friend. Paul, the owner, looked at my glasses and informed me that the anti-reflective coating used on my glasses was a cheap version and thus caused all the spots in my lenses, and then to my surprise, he told me my lenses were not Verilux...it turns out I was provided a cheap version of what I thought was Verilux for my progressive lenses. I guess you really do get what you pay for!   Upon entering Nauset Optical I was greeted by Paul's office manager, Cheryl. She assisted me in selecting from a wide variety of frames. Paul greeted me shortly thereafter and they both helped me with my final selection. I hate having to pick out frames but they made it seem easy. Paul took his time fitting me and took great care to insure I was satisfied with everything. He is very knowledgeable and was patient with my needs and questions.  I returned a couple of days later to pick up my new glasses. What a difference! The fit was much more comfortable and I don’t remember ever having my vision so crisp and clear. I have to say I was very satisfied with my experience at Nauset Optical and I would highly recommend them. Pros: Great selection of frames. Made on premises. Fast Service. more

Was on the Cape to see a client when I realized that I had lost a lens in my glasses. I dropped them off at 10am, hoping to have them back before I had to drive back to NY the next day. I wasn't from the area and didn't know where to go to get glasses after losing mine. My friend suggested I go see her optician at Nauset Optical. The store was easy to find, clean and had an abundant selection of quality frames. I was greeted with a friendly smile and prompt service. Having gone alone, the owners were very helpful with helping me find the right frame for me. My glasses ready 2 days later. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I plan on returning next summer for a new pair of sun glasses. Pros: friendly and timely customer service more

Hold on to your wallet. The proprietor knowingly misinformed me regarding the identity of the frame manufacturer for the sole purpose of preventing me from knowing whether his merchandise was competitively priced given the actual quality of the product. These people will attempt to deceive you. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I'm embarassed to say that I was once fleeced by this place. Don't let it happen to you. Pros: Nauset Optical provides us all with a terrific example of what NOT to do. Cons: The biggest negative ( and the biggest surprise) is that they're still in business. more
