This treasure is nestled between the first and second hangars of the U.S. Air Force Museum. The USAF Museum tends to focus on the aircraft, so it’s nice that this museum focuses on the people. There are biographies and displays dedicated to the Hall of Fame’s enshrinees, along with hand-on activities geared toward children. These displays, such as a lunar landing video game, a small rocket launch, and a model helicopter are a great break for kids who are bored from not being able to touch anything in the USAF Museum. There is plenty to entertain adults, also. The Hall of Fame’s annual enshrinement dinner is in July and is also well worth attending.
