Nast Roofing

I should have read the reviews on line before using Nast Roofing. The worst roofer I ever dealt with. They do not give a hoot about pleasing the customer and have no concept of customer service. Buyer Beware with these people, once you agree to their contract, and paid a deposit, they got you, because they will lien your property if they are not fully paid. Doesn't matter is the job is unsatisfactory --Nast roofing will do nothing to satisfy a customer. They agreed to replace the rotten wood under the roof, but left rotted wood in the roof, and the carpentry job was completely shoddy. Workers came and went without supervision, and they removed my gutter and did not properly replace it. Save yourself the aggravation, and get a roofer with good references. more

\r Nast Roofing Co, 138 W State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316\r \r A good company to AVOID at all costs! Not worth the headaches! My tiles sat on my roof for over three weeks. Then after my roof was finished, I found a rotten and missing (rotted away) area in my attic. I guess they never thought I'd go up there and look. There was also an exhaust went that was never connected to the vent they installed during the roof install- leading to the possibility of CO2 buildup in the attic- a truly dangerous situation. In addition, they left fascia boards out, used scrap pieces of flashing that formed multiple joints very close together, and dripped tar everywhere. Their own repairman came out and said he thought it was a sloppy job! For your own good- STAY AWAY! more

What he did leave me with was a roof repair that could cost me up to $2000.00 and more cost to fix my ceilings. Andreu construction subbed him out to do the roof on my master bedroom addition. My home was shaped rectangular, and now an "L" shape with the addition. 2 years after the work was completed, I had water flowing through my kitchen and laundry room ceilings whenever we had rain. I called Max Andreu, he said I had a one year contract and, "hold on Mike, I have another call!" Then afterwards he would not answer any of my calls. When I called Tim from Nast roofing and asked him if he could come see my roof, he also said I only had a 1 year warranty and would I like him to give me an estimate to repair the roof! Can you believe this guy? Then he told me, "Well Mike, at least it lasted you 2 years and hung up on me. This is not a company more

The problem was they made valleys at the point the new roof joined the existing roof(took a short cut), rather than overlapping shingles from the top of the roof to the bottom of the roof over the joining point or seam. When I had another roofer look at it he found a few code violations and wondered how it ever past inspections-(EX)-nails in the valleys, loose shingles(lifting)Terrible! more
