The SECRET to good NY style pizza is how good ""the sauce"" is (strong, multiple seasonings- but in a greater amount than the amount of cheese) AND how the crust is made (thin & well baked on the outside with differing levels of toasted-coloring and tasty, BUT an absorbent doughy middle to absorb the oil from the cheese and sauce). I didn't believe I would find a pizzeria in Poughkeepsie which would meet these HIGH criteria (I just moved here- growing up in Westchester on some of the BEST restaurants you can find outside of NYC makes me a tough critic) , but Napoli & Sicilia's REALLY satisfies these standards!
Pros: Pizza's SAUCE, crust, and taste. Very attentive to customers
Cons: Hard to find at night. A bit noisy. Needs more Tables and Chairs
