BEST SUSHI IN THE NORTH AREA 9/5/2006

WOW! I've been going to this Sushi Bar for years. Several years ago they weren't high on my list but they have done a wonderful job of now, becoming my favorite Sushi Bar. The quality of the sushi has never be questionable, the varied selections and occasional roll specials provided by Boone the head sushi chef and owner are creative, delightful and allways amazing. I allways sit at the sushi bar and end up meeting people that I see over and over again ath the restaurant. Try the Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, the Master Blend Tuna Roll, and the Vegetable Tempura. Those are my top 3 favorites at the BAR! Pros: FOOD and SERVICE Cons: Lighting too bright more

WOW! I've been going to this Sushi Bar for years. Several years ago they weren't high on my list but they have done a wonderful job of now, becoming my favorite Sushi Bar. The quality of the sushi has never be questionable, the varied selections and occasional roll specials provided by Boone the head sushi chef and owner are creative, delightful and allways amazing. Nearly hidden in a shopping center in Arvada, Namiko's has had consistently great sushi for years. The pieces are large for the cost, very fresh and flavorful. They have a great selection. In addition to sushi, they have great appetizers, try the Firecracker Shrimp - delish, or the Blazing Pearl Scallops - unlike anything you've ever had! Try the non-sushi items as well, Beef Don Bury, Tempura and Udon. I love everything on the menu here. Pros: Reasonable Prices, Fresh Ingredients, Fun Fish Tanks more

Namiko's Sushi is Excellent 6/9/2005

I have been to just about every sushi bar in the Denver metro area. Namiko's is without a doubt a great sushi restaraunt. If you truely love to eat sushi and aren't just in it for the clout, you'll love what Namiko's has to offer. The flavors and freshness of the rolls are outstanding, which is what sushi is all about. Being from California, I thought it would be hard to find a great sushi place, but I was wrong. Namikos blows all other sushi places out of the water! The service is the best, you are treated like family once in the door. The food is to die for, always fresh, and no samll pieces here. You get what you pay for at Namikos. Sushi, Teriyaki, Yakitori: Delicious! 7/23/2004

Yes, this place has been around for 15 years. In the beginning, it was mediocre at best. Only went because of its location. Last year, I tried it again (again because of its location). Let me tell you, it is wonderful! The dining room has expanded to include beautiful salt water fish tanks. The sushi bar is fun. The food is meticulously prepared and very tasty. The sushi is fresh with no skimping on the ingredients. Try the Yakitori dinner instead of the chicken teriyaki. You'll be pleasantly surprised when you first bite into the chicken-on-a-stick. My favorite is the Beef Teriyaki Dinner. It's not your run-of-the-mill beef. Nope, it's been upgraded to grilled beef short ribs. Tasty. Be sure to top it off with a heaping dish of green tea ice cream. The great food and friendly atmosphere puts Sonoda's to shame. Pros: Yummy Food, Friendly Staff, Atmosphere more

Top notch sushi 11/14/2002

I have been going to namikos for a few years now and the food is always great. It seems out of place, and isn't fancy, but you're going to eat there not ballroom dance. Pros: fresh fish, great prices, great people Cons: odd location more

Just awsome sushi, no hipe! 9/26/2002

Namiko's is not about bringing in the ""in"" crowd. It is awsome sushi and stands on its own without the wannabe LA crowd approval and discomfort. You go there to eat well and be treated well. Not to be seen. Pros: plenty of parking, no wannabes, damn good sushi! Cons: no snobs to laugh at, small bathroom(s), no endless waiting more
