I always love shopping here because they have the best deals, but today i felt very offended. I came in and was trying to sell two items. I asked the lady how long of a wait it is and she said and hour and a half to two hours. i said oh man really? so i said i would come back a different day. I guess then the lady thought i left but i reallly didnt and i was looking at jewelry. I then heard her go over to this lady and say "" i really hate when people go oh really that long, when i tell them how long the wait is. Its like didn't you hear me im not lying to you, are you stupid?'' After today i think im just going to stick with buying and selling at platos closet. more

ive been a customer of Name Brand Exchange for many mannny yrs now. & even known by name now :p i frequent the Val Vista location most. but overall great clothes/deals.and honestly am dumbfounded by the rumors and badmouthing I'm reading here. and from just shopping and selling, i gather that these girls all require tough skin to work at a place like this. ive watched numerous of disgruntled customers treating these girls so badly all on account that they didnt purchase their outdated walmart, discounted, stained up clothes or what have you. almost all of these bad reviews are because their clothes were not purchased,.is that not a Coincidence? they are running a business and can only assume they cant buy from every single person that walks through the door with loads and loads of trash bags in their hands. and if they did itd make it harder for us to sift through all the junk just to find the good stuff. i could go to goodwill if i wanted to do that. about the attitudes: how about try this... smile and maybe youll get a smile back. respect and common courtesy goes both ways, shouldnt matter who's on the clock or not. if it does matter, please give me your workplace and i'll be sure to give you a hard time just for the hell of it :] Pros: great store more

This store has GREAT deals on clothes. But the attitude of the girls that work there IS HORRIBLE..I was in the dressing room and HEARD THEM TALKING laughing and making mean jokes about me while I was in there. They need to be cautious of what they say infront of their customers. They also hardly take any clothes when you try to sell your items there. If your going to a Name Brand Exchange the one on Dobson should be frist on your list. The ladys are super friendly and very helpful. If you have questions or may be need something out of a case you want get any eye rolling unlike the girl on Southren Ave. They always give service with a smile and that may seem small but a smile goes along way. Okay so I took some name brand clothes which were clothes I have perchased a year ago from Name Brand Exchange. So I figured they would take them sense they are from that store and in perfectly good shape.. But they only took a tank top... And a pair of A&F jeans. The shirts were Hollister and A&F and other I have no clue but it was all from there... I was really disapointed. Plus they didn't really have the smiles on their face... Sure they are here and have to run the store but... When I went to check out.. They kept talking to eachother and they wouldn't look at me.. I mean i'll still go back because they have good deals but they don't make me feel welcome. Pros: Cheap clothes Cons: Rude Employees more

I stumbled upon these previous reviews and was left in awe. I too have had clothes stolen from this store on Val Vista & Southern! I browsed the store while they looked through my clothing and upon taking none of it I began placing it back in the bag. I quickly noticed a few particular items were gone and asked them where they had placed the rest of my clothes. They acted dumbfounded and told me someone must have ""accidentally"" put them into their own bag. I left my phone number only to never hear a word from them. Unfortunately according to similar occurrences it sounds like this is a regular procedure for them to make 100% profit on their used goods. Shame on this organization. Pros: A great opportunity to get designer duds at a portion of the cost. Cons: Young, rude employees, common ""misplacement"" of customers to-be-sold clothing. more

I went to the NAME BRAND EXCHANGE on valvista & southern I had so many clothes to sell i wanted to come check out this place since i had never been there before and it is right around the corner from where i live i noticed a sign that said ""we are not responsible for lost or stolen clothes"" on the shelf where they place the clothes they arent interested in buying i nicely folded all my clothes and placed them in one pile like the unfriendly girl working there said she continued to ignore me for 10 mins while she hung out with her friend then she told me to either go sit down or have a look around when i walked away from my clothes another girl came over and started pulling out bags and putting clothes in it right next to my clothes so i got up i wasnt trying to get ripped off since they are not responsible as posted finally the girl came up she looked very annoyed that i was watching her and she stopped what she was doing to ask if i had a question because if i didnt i could go have a seat i told her i would like to watch and she told me i didnt need to she rolled her eyes then just unfolded everything without even looking at the clothes she was done in like 2 sec then she just up and walked away saying they arent going to buy anything from me now they only want new current items from american eagle outfitters and abercrombie .. the girl was ""trying "" to look like a gothic version of punk with AFI playing in the background but only wanting preppy styles when she walked away she said good luck selling that stuff rolled her eyes and said my stuff was old and out of style to her friend as she hurried back to her friends and left all my clothes all balled up i felt very discriminated against. i later took the same clothes to BUFFALO EXCHANGE in tempe and made over $120.00 bucks they loved my retro '50's style and rockabilly clothes more

I thought this place was kinda weird. They had a huge poster of a playboy bunnie and were selling buttons that said""P.orn again""and other p.orn related things. They also rejected all the clothes I brough in to trade for newer clothes. My cute denim miniskirt that I offered them was rejected because it was from aeropostale but they had mustard yellow and maroon plad bell bottoms on the r.ack because they were from Hollister. That offended me. On top of it all they had signs up evrywher that said things such as""we catch shoplifters evry day do you want to be one?"" or ""put the clothes back EXACTLY where you found them. We don't want to pick up after you."" So ya they had cheap name brand clothes but they treated me like dirt so I won't be giving them any of my money. Name Brand Exchange is definately the best clothing store i have ever shopped at. The people are so nice and the selection is great. They always have exactly what i like and even sometimes surpirse me with cool new things. They are also chea, which is good considering that i am a teenager and i never have a lot of money. I dont go anywhere else. Pros: Friendly people, Great selection, Inexpensive Cons: only 2 stores!, not open 24-7, no stores in gilbert more
