The experience we had recently at this restaurant was absolutely the worst. We arrived at about 6:45PM on a Thursday night, a slow night. Nobody to greet us at the front. After a few minutes we were shown to our table. The place was not busy. There were 4 people at the sushi bar and about half of the tables were occupied. Our drinks were ordered... a beer, ice tea, Japanese tea and a strawberry daquiri. All but the daquiri were served within the normal timeframe. The daquiri, however, was at the bar for ten minutes, next to another patron's drink. We ordered a Gyoza for appetizer, Tempura & chicken teriyaki combo, a teriyaki chicken dinner, a Chirashi Sushi and a Sushi Sashimi combo. The 1st 3 items were served about 30 minutes after being ordered. Bowl of rice, which is normally served with any Japanese meal was not served. We had to ask for it. The Gyoza was warm, not hot as it should be and it should be served prior to the main meal. Thats why its an appetizer...It took another 20 minutes for the Chirashi to be served. By this time, there was nobody at the sushi bar except for the 2 sushi chefs... Another waiter came by to bus the table. He asked if I needed my chopsticks,,, yes, I replied because I'm still waiting for my Sushi & Sashimi dinner combo. It took another 25 minutes for my meal to be served. We finally left at 8:45 PM. This should not have taken 2 hours to have a meal, especially when the 2 sushi chefs were just standing around! \r
The food was so-so. Its way over priced. We are not new to dining at a Japanese Restaurant. At this restaurant there was nobody welcoming you with the traditional ""irrashai mase"" greeting nor was there a ""arigato gozaimasu"" when we left the place. This is a poor excuse for a Japanese restaurant. I'm extremely dissappointed with the place. The review I read before I went to Nakamoto must have been talking about another place. Do not waste your time and money at this restaurant!!!
Pros: Ample parking space
Cons: Slow Svc, over priced food, lack of friendly atmosphere
