Nail Trix

The owner was seriously the RUDEST woman I ever seen in my life!!!! I will never as so much even look at that place when I go walk by it! My nails lifted real bad within a few days of having my nails done and all I wanted was a little fill on 2 corners of my nails.. THAT'S ALL!! She brought 2 girls over to me so I could point out what one did my nails (very akward that was) I couldn't remember who did them. She told me it would cost $5. I asked her how come I was even being charged, she told me they only guarantee 2 days! She only stands behind her work for 2 days. What a shame! Keep in mind that I brought my daughter in there as this was going on and my daughter was having her nails painted that ended up chipping off 2 days later (go figure) The owner did nothing but argue with me and treat me horribly, she would rather stand there and treat her customers poorly than to comp $5. Customer service is a joke to that woman. Not to mention she dresses like a street walker! Keep it classy! more

I am in the process of moving to Syracuse. I decided to try Nail Trix because I really like going to Best Buy and the salon is right next to the store. The place was not crowded at all although I was there around noon on a weekday. I do admit the language barrier was a problem however, the person I was with was not very personable. What really bothered me was that they did not use a base or bottom coat. The nail polish started to chip within 2 days. For the money, it's not worth going there unless the place you go to is busy because this place has tons of room. more

Just moved down the hall on the second floor of Carousel Center. The smell is a little overpowering, but that can be said of all nail salons. Never a wait, fair pricing, and eyebrow waxing that doesn't hurt. There is not much English spoken here, but the man that seems to run the place is very friendly, loves kids, and runs a nice, clean, efficient place. Definitely worth a try. more
