I joined this network and took time just to let others know to how this studio works before someone gets hurt again.
I went for a normal hand wax assuming they are reasonably cheap seeing their pedicure pricing. I read their hand wax pricing as 25$ so I think its like any other parlor and went out to try. The lady I assume the owner all dressed up offered to do. Hardly understands a word of english she pressed the hand waxer so hard that it actually hurts to point of being crushed under it and stopped when I yelled out with pain. Later, she resorted to manual hand waxing where she repeatedly stripped off the strips so hard and so many times that they actually burnt my hands. I stopped them before completion not wanting to have burn marks all over and went over the counter only to find she charged me a freaking $55!!! When I asked where that figure came from, she said I have TWO HANDS so its 25+25+5 tip (tip self added!). As they dont understand a word of english, unable to argue the injustice of having the burns plus the heavy pricing I left off as she was too rude to argue with.
Now I am, left with burn marks on my hands (hoping they ll go soon as everyone keeps asking about it), a 55$ credit bill, rude & worst customer treatment. Lesson - never to try a Salon without reviews especially when its with your skin!
