We had dinner at a new restaurant that has just opened. N.Y. Pasta Factory has the best italian food I have had since we left New Jersey seventeen years ago. We had the fried calamari appetizer. The salad was fresh and cold and included red peppers, fresh garlic, two kinds of olives. We also had the linguine with white clam sauce that came with clams in the shell as a garnish. Very impressive. We also tried the fettucine with alfredo sauce and shrimp. Everything was excellent. The portions were huge and the pasta was home made. The garlic knots were fresh from the oven and the service was fantastic. The food was so fresh and so hot it was a pleasure just sitting there waiting for it to cool off. My compliments to the chef. This italian restaurant will put several restaurants in the area out of business once word gets out about the food/service. We took several of the "to go" menus to try in the coming weeks. I hope this restaurant does well and around for a long time to come. We will certainly return on a regular basis. The prices were reasonable and the cleanliness of this restaurant was superb. It has a "wow" factor of 10
