N R G Air Conditioning & Htg

We had the unexpected occur, just before Christmas. The old unit was Carrier and had served me well. I did my typical online and friend and neighbor research. I called several big name HVAC companies. I was having some difficulty with inconsistent information. A neighbor referred me to N.R.G. Air, stating that they had a very difficult install and that this was the only company willing to take the job on. They were quite happy with the outcome. Technician came out and walked my home. We discussed options, needs, preferences, costs. I promptly received an estimate for three options, each of which he explained fully to me. I decided to add central air and replace existing duct work at the same time. I chose Rheem products. The day the job began, we had rain blowing sideways, the attic roof leaked, the yard turned to muck. We encountered many challenges in this project that never could have been for seen. This guys were super. Very patient, provided great problem solving suggestions as they occurred. The crew are knowledgeable, polite, professional and worked hard in difficult conditions. They showed up on time, cleaned up each night and accommodated my 4 cats and a dog. I am not one to gush about customer service and I am VERY PICKY about contractors and fit, finish and function. They system exceeds my expectations. Follow up customer service has been prompt and professional. In short, I would highly recommend N.R.G. Air for your HVAC needs. Thanks guys! more

I called N.R.G. Air when my heater wasn't working. They came out within the hour and the technician was very good at what he did and I had heat within a half hour. I had 2 other companies come the day before and both told me my heater needed to be replaced which I thought was strange since it was only 11 years old. I just want to say that this is a good company to call if you need someone good and they seem very reasonable as far as price. more

We went through quite a few appliance repair places before, finally, our neighbor recommended NRG Air saying that they are really laid back, but they really know what they are doing. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to repair dryers, so the most important thing is that their work is solid and their prices are decent....even on the inexpensive side. And, in the time, when I've been faced with an appliance repair emergency, NRG Air was there! more

My 25 year + heating and air conditioning was giving up the ghost. I had a couple of repair estimates that were, to put it mildly, ridiculous (both in price and identified "issues"). I had estimates to replace the whole thing (condenser and furnace) and NRG Air won my business with their no-nonsense approach and their willingness to work on different price option/combinations. Trust me, I called several different HVAC repair companies when my air conditioning wasn't working and NRG Air was definitely the most prompt to return my calls and gave me by far the most reasonable price for the repair job. They were extremely professional during their inspection talking with me about all the possible causes and potential solutions. New equipment was installed Monday and I couldn't be happier. Their work is clean, clean, clean. They keep to their word, show up on time and their work is professional. Pricing is excellent. One of the things that differentiates this company from other tradesmen is that he reads and promptly answers (that night) e-mail! This might seem like no big deal to some, but to me it is a huge deal as all communication, negotiation etc. is done promptly, a record of such is established, and it imbues a sense of trust. I have worked with others who apparently think e-mail is only useful to spam me with the latest deals, coupons, fall specials and whatnot, and can only be bothered to communicate over the phone. Not NRG Air. I won't hesitate to use them in the future... Excellent customer service and NRG Air certainly knew what they were doing and did it at a reasonable rate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend NRG Air to my friends and neighbors, and should I ever need a new heater, this is the company I will call. These guys are great! more

I recently had my furnace stop working and after reading the reviews, so I called NRG Air. They arrived 10 minutes early (unbelievable for most contractors) and had replaced the malfunctioning part and were gone in less than 1 hour. The tech was extremely nice and explained everything clearly to me. The office manager was also very helpful in scheduling an appointment. Couldn't be happier with NRG Air...Highly recommend! more

Thanks so much for helping my wife out last week. We called you all with what my wife called a "serious plumbing emergency". We were having guests come in town for the holidays and the drain in the guest bathroom shower was clogged. My wife said the serviceman that came was great as she was running around getting the house ready. He snaked the drain and even tightened the faucet too. She said he was there for less than 30 minutes. Thanks for your prompt and quick work. more

I was very pleased with NRG Heating & Air Conditioning. My a/c was blowing warm air and after reading the reviews of them on line I gave them a call. The receptionist was patient and friendly. When the technician came out he too was polite and patient. He was able to repair my system right there and then and I was very pleased. They also guaranteed this repair for a year!! After getting estimates from 4 different companies to replace my heating furnace and relocate the unit to attic, we found NRG Heating & Air conditioning Inc. the most attractive of them all. Not only their price estimate was good, but more importantly they provided us the detail information we needed to make the appropriate decision. Hello, I am writing to share my experiences with NRG Heating and Air. We have been using them at our hotel for three months now and in that time they have proved to be professional and reliable. When we have an emergency their response time is usually under one hour. When they arrive on a property they are quick to resolve our issues and to make suggestions for improvements. The people on the staff that work in the office are hard working; when something needs to be done and followed up on right away, I can always count on them to respond in a timely manner. In addition to this, their prices are very fair and usually cheaper than many other plumbing companies. I have enjoyed my experiences in working with NRG Heating and Air and will continue to use them in the future. more

I have been a customer of NRG for many years, I think the first time was just from the Yellow Pages, but ever since I have exclusively used them for all my air conditioning and heating needs. I find their technicians very knowledgeable, pleasant and polite. They are reliable and show up for all appointments promptly and on time. Their prices are very competitive, especially for the high quality of work they do. They are always available for any emergency that might occur. A few years ago I had them replace my water heater. Since then I have them do a checkup every year. Recently two technicians arrived for my annual checkup. One of them even did some minor adjustments on my kitchen faucet at no extra charge. He drained my water heater efficiently. The other technician spent over an hour with my gas heater. He changed some of the settings to make it run more efficiently. more

We hired NRG Air to replace a 30+ year old heating system and air conditioner in our home. We hired them because of their professionalism and pricing, and the overall personal attention we received in the bidding process. We were not disappointed. Dmitriy's years of experience were critical to getting our new Trane system with Clean Effects properly installed in the available space in our 1930's house (we had another contractor take one look at the space and decide not to bid!), and we are very pleased with their work. We are also very happy with the system Dmitriy recommended, and we and thank him for his expertise in helping us decide the correct products for our home. I had problems with air conditioning. There have been some kind of device failure due to sudden power failure. When I power on, unit began to smoke. I turned it off and called the company. They came very quickly and fix the defect immediately. They are not expensive service. more

My husbent and I had NRG come out to our house to service our air conditioning system (a 10 year old Carrier). The technician (Dmitri) was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about our system. I'm sure he could have talked us into buying a whole new AC system, but instead, fixed the problem and saved us a lot of money. We're not sure how long our current air conditioner will last, but we are sold on the honesty of NRG. - that's for sure - and we'll call them again when this old one needs replacement more

I am a service tech looking for work and had an interview with nrg first week in 2011 with a Martin at the canoga park location.During this interveiw I was shocked to hear him ask me if I could make a sale after the customer said no to any needed repairs to their hvac unit. He also mentioned to me that its not about fixing the hvac unit but how much money I could get out of the given customer from the service call and how many service calls could I get done in a single day.
