Mystique Day Spa

Husband's gone for a week, he's buying a massage and foot treatment. Great, I'm there. Had an appointment for noon, got there 20 minutes early. Offered a beverage, no thanks. Massage started right on time, don't know the woman's name, she never introduced herself. Do know she had a cold (hope that's all it was) because her nose was runny, prayed it didn't drip on me while she was working on my back. Massage was OK at best, was really hoping for GREAT. Foot treatment was way better, at least the nail tech had a personality. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The towels that were being used throughout the place were VERY worn, I would have demoted them to rags a long time ago. Sure hope they get new ones before Friday, when the spa is being taken over by ABC honchos in town for the Super Bowl, or Mystique is going to give Detroit a bad name!! more

I have only been to a few spas and I tried this one out. The place when you walked in made you feel warm and relaxed and i delt with someone that was very nice but for the price I would not go again. While I was there I did see some really rude attitudes while the person was answering the phone and trying to take appts, she should have better customer service skills and I dont think I would tell anyone to really go here either. more

As I walked into Mystique Day Spa...I immediately noticed the calm, relaxed atmosphere. I was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. The service was exceptional. The staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. I have been to many other "high end" salons in the metro Detroit area and this was by far the BEST! The slogan is " the way you feel is about to change" and they were right...I left feeling rejuvenated and renewed...thank you Mystique Day Spa. more

OK, they have a sign in their window that says walk ins welcome, so I walked in. The parking lot was full, so I did figure I would have to wait a while to get my hair done, but that was OK. I walked up to the front desk, and asked if I could get in that day for my hair, and she rudely said that they never can accomidate walk ins, and everyone had to make an appointment. I asked about the sign in the window, and she rudely explained that was not for me! I would NOT recommend this salon, simply on her rudeness, snobby attitude, and service! more
