Well, we go to Myer's pickle farm every harvest season. We especially liked to take the kids there to their pumpkin patch! Well this year, was the worst! Worst experience ever!
Well, first off they are highly priced. We got there a little late this season and for 3 pumpkins came to almost 30 dollars! They were half rotted as well, but the kids really wanted to have this experience. So we did it for them.
Next thing was the worst, it is a bit graphic as well.
My children ended up finding what we thought was a baby possum. Well, my kids went to tell the owner and the guy that works there said, "people must be stupid to not know the difference between a mouse and a possum" To my children and I. Calling us stupid. Well turns out it was not a mouse either, it was a little critter called a shrew. Just a baby as I mentioned. They were very ignorant to our kids, to us, and to our surprise, they all gathered around this little critter and hit it, ran over it with their bikes etc. They were all laughing and throwing this little animal around like nothing. the adults as well. These are suppose to be professional people. This is supposed to be a place to take your kids to. My children were crying as we got into the car, and all the could do is laugh. I don't know about you, but I didn't like the fact that they hurt and innocent critter, but in front of my kids was totally uncalled for. You know it's been a few weeks now since that terrible day at Myer's and my children still ask about that. It was a good time to teach them about ignorant people. But not a good pumpkin experience.
If I could this place would get 0 stars! But since I have to rate it, they get 1. But totally undeservable.
