Hey b4night, instead of acting like an emotionally challenged customer, why not talk the the person who you think was ""shadowing"" you and make him see that you are high class people? But, no, instead you elect to play the victim card...AGAIN! Can you get a clue? Try to be part of the solution and not part of the problem for once. more

Huge selection and great prices - nothing is new! 11/30/2010

It's customers make this shop the best in Atlanta. I'm recently retired and enjoy the hunt for good quality antiques and collectables. The store is divided into booths, some very organized and some not so much. You can find a great deal on an $500 antique cabinet or buy a $25 nightstand. They also have a myriad of ""smalls"" mostly decorative items. New ""old"" items come in everyday. If you spend $100 and it won't fit in your vehicle, they will deliver for free! I saw folks shopping from many different ethic backgrounds and walks of life - bargain hunters, antique dealers, decorators, college kids, home owners and apartment dwellers. The best thing is, everyone gets the same deal, a 10% discount and you don't even have to ask for it! more

My journey to My Favorite Place 11/23/2009

Well?I took my car to Firestone for a tune up and while I was waiting, I saw this quaint little building next door with furniture and tables FULL of goodies outside, so I stepped on over. My Favorite Place is true to it?s name! You walk in and there is 10,000 square feet of all KINDS of stuff! From furniture to desk supplies, you can?t go wrong! If you?re looking to furnish your home on a VERY LOW budget, this is the place to be. I purchased on my first trip a HUGE Black lacquer and gold accented mirror. It had a few chips in the paint, but it was STILL worth WAYYY more than the $20.00 I paid for it! I wish I could post a picture of it! I was SHOCKED!!! I tend to go back every now and then and it is HARD not to keep buying stuff! They also buy things from you and I have a trunk load of stuff to sell them. All in all, if you are meticulous and love to walk from aisle to aisle looking for bargains, this is the place to go. Please plan to be in there at least an hour and half if you are going to go down every aisle. As noted, one of the cons is that the aisles are tight. If you are over 250 pounds, I suggest you plan 45 minutes to shop because you will not fit through the aisles. Sorry, but it?s true. I can?t wait to go back and spend more money on the lost treasures of Atlanta! Pros: A collectors DREAM, cheap good stuff Cons: Hard to move around (obese restricted) raw customer service more

Racial Profiling!!!! 6/9/2009

My husband and i went to this place a little while ago. We finally saw a crystal decanter we wanted to purchase when we noticed the same man going in each isle that my husband and I were in. We were not sure at first, so we decided to test him. We went back to another isle that we were previously in, and there he was again. It was obvious to us that were were being watched and followed. We immediately put back the bottle we were going to purchase and walked out. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know and I will make sure that everyone knows the experience we had there. We are hard working peopleand have never stolen anything in our lives and certainly would not start in a trash heap like that. If you are not white, I' m sure they will have their eye on you!! Stay away!! Pros: Nothning Cons: Racists more

Great for junkin' 2/24/2009

It's true....if you love digging through stuff to find treasures, this place is for you. Some of the aisles between shelves are so narrow, you have to walk sideways! But it's totally worth it if you like resale/thrift stores and flea markets. This place is a great mix between the two. Pros: The variety of stuff you'll find...old and new Cons: Not the best customer service I've ever seen, but don't let that discourage you!!! more

You have to dig through everything... 11/23/2006

...but it's worth it. If you like going to places like this, you already like to dig through a bunch of junk to find a treasure. It's a lot of fun packed into a smallish space. more
