My Dog Walker..and More!

Tamela has done wonders for my son's dog who was rescued from an owner who used to beat her. She was very skittish and growled at men. After only a few lessons my Son's dog has the confidence and demeaner of a well loved dog. She rarely barks at men and her eyes express security, love and kindness. Tamela's lessons on ""T Touch"" has given our dogs the awareness of their bodies so they are much more secure. Tamela has became a very good friend, not only to our dogs, but to us as well. I hesitate to tell everyone how GREAT Tamela has been for my dog because I want to keep her all to myself! Tamela has turned my anxious dog's life around in just a couple of short months. He's gone from being an anxious, scared shelter dog to a confident, happy pup. Two months ago he would lunge at dogs in the park in attack mode, and yesterday we had a relaxing, event-free, happy time playing with other dogs at the dog park. Paige is our primary walker and immediately when I met her I knew she loved her job and her clients. Our two dogs can be hard to get to know and within minutes they warmed up to her. I really appreciate the logs to let me know how the walk went, what time Paige arrived and if there is anything I need to know about the dogs- including their 'business' on the walk. We have two dogs, one standard Aussie and one miniature Aussie. Our big guy, Scout, is super loveable, but only with us. He would bark at strangers, lunge on the leash, anything to try to get at people and it was scary. I was referred to Tamela from a friend of hers and I am so happy she came to meet us. I have NEVER seen Scout react to someone like he has with her. He loves her soooo much! She has helped him come a long way with walking and training. I never thought it would happen, but she made it happen! We tried him out with other trainers back east but they didn't know how to handle him. After one visit from Paige and Tamela, I could see the difference. They gave me my homework and it has been working ever since. Our little guy, Enzo, loves everyone, so he is easy, but is very young. Tamela and Paige of ?My Dog Walker, My Dog Trainer? have provided both training and walks for our HUGE pup, Moby. After our dog started to act alpha to all who set foot in our house we were desperate for help with training and walks while we were at work. At 15 months old he was going through adolescence, weighed almost 100 lbs. and we had never owned a dog before. We new as soon as Tamela and Paige came over for a consult they were not just professional and experienced with dog behavior but truly animal loving people. They came in armed with stinky treats; happy voices and confidence, which in turn gave us the confidence we needed to get through and understand doggie adolescents. Paige and Tamela provided hands on, easy to implement dog training techniques. We took our Corgi puppy to a beginner class, after struggling with excessive barking and impulsive behavior. The class had five or six dogs and allowed for extensive individual attention. They used different dogs in the class to demonstrate the desired behavior and gave us instructions for work at home. This was all accomplished in a positive non threatening manner. I am happy to report that our puppy now stops barking when instructed to. She is also able to follow commands and her manners have improved greatly. Pros: useful, applicable dog training techniques more
