One of the nicest pet stores I have been to. They carry a huge selection of fresh and saltwater fish and also the largest life coral selection around. The owner actually travels himself internationally to get them. They also have many different kinds of tank for sale and anything else you could need. They sell their own store brand fish food which is cheaper than the brand name food. Also do they have supplies for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and other pets. Yes, the younger employees don't seem to care much about good customer service but it is still our favorite pet store. And you get very detailed information to your questions if you aks the right person in there. You can now get a MVPets Rewards Card to earn points every time you make a purchase. more

This pet store has as a wonderful selection of fresh and saltwater fish. Their fish are healthy and the staff is very helpful in helping you find the right fish for your aquarium. The only drawback is that some of the younger staff can be a little lazy (stand around talking instead of helping). Otherwise, I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for tropical fish in the Kalamazoo area. more

This is a fantastic pet store! When we first set up our aquarium, we were trying to figure out where to go to get our fish. We first tried SuperPetz, another pet store in town. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was not the right place to get healthy fish! My husband then insisted that we go to MVPets. As soon as we walked into the location, we knew we had found our pet store! We were assisted as soon as we walked in, and the staff asked us questions about our tank, and the setup. The employee (who I later found out was an owner) suggested an easy to care for beginner fish. Our children were with us, and he spoke to them and told them how to care for the fish. The store also does free water testing. Most of the regular employees in the location are very helpful,there are a few that would rather seem to do anything other than ask if you needed help though! But, even they are knowledgeable once you get them to help you! more
